Named after the native mud buffalo called “Tamaraw,” the 423-foot waterfalls situated alongside the road, is actually a series of asymmetrical falls, leading to the grand one, dropping to a frothy waterbed below. The cascading waterfalls is a great attraction to passers-by. Tamaraw Falls is located in Barangay Villaflor, Puerto Galera. Just inquire with Campbell’s staff about arranging a tour.
Hiking at Mt. Halcon
Towering 8,488 feet above sea level, Mt. Halcon is the country’s third highest peak. It is a favourite destination for nature tripping and mountain climbing. Mt. Halcon is located in Baco. Campbell’s can arrange for your guide and your travel to Baco, the jump-off point.
Kayaking and Snorkeling
Puerto Galera’s miles and miles of beautiful coastline is just waiting for you to explore. You can hire kayaks directly from our resort, and paddle off to explore for yourself. Just let us know if you need drinks and snacks or a packed lunch to take with you on your adventure.
If you enjoy snorkeling, Big La Laguna Bay is perfect! The waters are warm, clear and usually very calm. Just a few meters from the beach you can expect to see a wide variety of hard and soft corals, and an abundance of fish and other sea creatures. Big La Laguna is regularly visited by turtles, so keep your eyes peeled!

Puerto Galera has dozens of pocket beaches scattered around the region. Gorgeous white sand beaches with not another soul in sight. It is a truly amazing experience to have a beautiful beach all to yourself, to enjoy some sunbathing and playing in the surf. Beach barbecues can also be arranged.
